People who come for the first time often say the same thing — it feels like I've come home. I've never gotten tired of hearing it.
This is a community of people who've found something here that changed how they move through their lives. Not by being told what to think, but by being met.

What we believe and practice
Some people come to Unity already spiritual and looking for a community. Others come from a variety of faith backgrounds carrying questions, curiosity, or a desire for something more. Many have moved beyond traditional religious structures but haven’t given up on their faith, their relationship with the Divine, or their own spiritual growth.
You don’t have to have everything figured out!
Our Five Principles
The Nature of God — God is good and everywhere present.
Our Nature — The Spirit of God lives within each person; therefore, all people are inherently Good.
Consciousness — We create our life experiences through our way of thinking.
Prayer and Meditation — There is power in affirmative prayer, which we believe increases our connection to God.
Living Consciously — Knowledge of these spiritual principles is not enough we must live them.

Our Bookstore
Unity Bookstore provides one-stop shopping for your gift and reading needs as well as an opportunity to support Unity Center for Spiritual Growth. Whether you are looking for the perfect gift for a birthday celebration or a spiritual, metaphysical or inspirational book for yourself, you will not leave disappointed.
We carry books by leading spiritual authors such as Marianne Williamson, Mark Nepo and Gregg Braden, as well as a large selection of New Thought authors’ books, children’s books and more. In addition, you will find a variety of CDs – including those by our own talented musicians, inspirational card decks, jewelry, greeting cards, gift bags and novelty items.
You also can pick up a current issue of the inspirational Daily Word.
Our bookstore accepts credit/debit cards as well as checks and cash. If you would like a book that is not on our shelves, we will be happy to order it for you. Please inquire at the check-out desk.
Our wonderful volunteers look forward to seeing you stop in on Sunday mornings following the service.

Sunday Services
Before the service begins, there's space to settle in and arrive in your own way. Some people enjoy a few moments of quiet reflection, others connect with friends old and new, and some simply take a breath and let the week fall away. Whatever brings you through our doors, you’ll be warmly welcomed.
The service begins at 10:00 and runs about ninety minutes. What happens in that time is mostly connection — through ideas worth sitting with, through music that is enjoyed sung together as much as listened to, and through a guided meditation where a voice and some music carry the whole room somewhere for a few minutes.
Somewhere in there we turn and greet each other, and later there's a moment when anyone who wants to can share something out loud. You're free to stay right where you are for both. Nobody will think anything of it.
There's an offering. Nobody watches what you put in the basket. There is also a card in the seatback in front of you if you wish to donate online.
Afterward there's coffee, and the bookstore's open, and people tend to stand around talking longer than they mean to. Stay as long as you like, or slip out — both are fine.

The Healing Service
A place to gather and support each other as we navigate challenges to our bodies, to our lives, or those of our loved ones.
On the first Sunday of every month, following our potluck luncheon, we gather in a circle in the sanctuary to open to the healing power within.
We open with prayer and a brief meditation, then, accompanied by the sounds of a crystal harp, our team of practitioners offers hands-on-healing individually to support those who choose, while we all sit in silent union.
Participate at the level that is comfortable for you.
It is a time of quiet and peace, an opportunity support ourselves and each other as we heal.
All that is shared at the Healing Service is held in confidence as sacred.
Prayer
Unity Center for Spiritual Growth is a ministry where people are empowered to pray with one another, recognizing God’s presence and power in every moment. Prayer and meditation are ways to consciously experience that presence.
Prayer Support
Our Prayer Partners offer one-one prayer support immediately after Sunday service. The Prayer Partner listens to you prayer request and them joins you in prayer. The Prayer Partner invites you to move beyond the level of the challenge, affirming the presence of Spirit within you as strength, courage, patience, wisdom and love.
When we are challenged, we can lose sight of Who we are. Trained in affirmative prayer, Prayer Partners support us in remembering. Prayer partners can be requested in person after a service or you can use the form below prayer requests.

Faith Lift Meditation
Sometimes we just need to stop and take a break from our day. Meditation offers the opportunity to quiet the mind and relax.
Unity Center for Spiritual Growth offers live online meditation as another means to consciously experience our true nature.
Rev. Barbara Kowalska offers a Faith Lift Meditation, a pause to refresh awareness, three times every week.
Through breathing and relaxation, we are invited to let go of everything but the moment and create a space to consciously experience the Truth of our Being.

The Labyrinth
A labyrinth is an ancient geometric path. You leave your worries at the entrance and walk slowly to the center. Most people find they arrive calmer and more grounded than they started.
Ours is in front of the church, next to the parking lot. It's walkable from spring through the first snowfall. There are benches nearby around the outer edge if you want to sit before or after.
We have a vision for an outer walkway that is ADA accessible
No one will ask you anything. Walk it whenever you like.
We built it ourselves. A committee formed, plans were drawn, and the path was walkable by September 14, 2006 — World Day of Prayer. In 2007 we planted a chakra garden around it. We've held Sunday services out there, blending our music with the sound of the field, and candlelight walks after Forgiveness services.
Each spring we watch the path emerge again after the winter.
The Garden
This garden provides food for the after-service coffee hour and much needed fresh food for the local community. In July, over 45lbs of fresh vegetables were provided to the local Windham food bank.
The garden is a community project and is tended to by Unity members who have a passion for growing.
